Animal Homes

This book tours the homes of selected bugs, birds, and mammals. It explains that animals use homes for shelter and for raising young, and that these homes may be visible or concealed for protection. Some animals build with materials such as sticks, mud, leaves, cotton, or grass, while others use caves, holes in trees, borrowed homes, or even carry a home with them. Full-page photographs accompany descriptions of each home’s materials and uses.
