Above All Else

Rose Keller and Tate Russo are teenage climbers who have spent years training in difficult conditions and traveling for climbs. At the end of their senior year, accompanied by Tate’s father, they attempt Mount Everest. The climb brings physical and emotional strain that neither teen can fully anticipate. Rose is also preoccupied by her mother’s illness, while Tate struggles with pressure connected to his ambitious father. A simmering romance between the climbers further complicates their Everest expedition.
