A Whisper of Horses

Serendipity is an orphaned girl living inside a walled city in a future where horses no longer exist. Before her mother died, she gave Seren a horse figurine. When Seren finds a map that might lead to real horses, she leaves the city with another orphan, Tab, and his dog. Their journey carries them far from what Seren knows, while a powerful man tries to ensure that she cannot escape the city. The search centers on the possibility that the last horses on Earth remain.
