A Face Like Glass

In the underground city of Caverna, people’s faces are naturally blank, so expressions must be learned from Facesmiths, who can teach or imitate joy, fear, and despair for a price. Caverna’s craftspeople make unusual wines, cheeses, and perfumes with powerful effects. Neverfell arrives with no memory of her past. Her genuine, changing expressions alarm the people around her so much that she must wear a mask. This adventure follows her entry into a dark, distrustful city.
