A Door in the Dark

Ren Monroe is a talented scholarship student at the exclusive Balmerick University, where she has spent four years proving her skill as a wizard. She hopes top marks will lead to recruitment by one of the major houses. After a party trick goes disastrously wrong, a waxway portal spell malfunctions during holiday travel. Ren and five other students are trapped in unknown territory. To survive, Ren must trust the group, including students whose circumstances and expectations differ from her own.
